A huge Anne Frank fan!

This summer I read The Diary of Anne Frank for the first time, and I fell in love with it. I think it's amazing that a girl at the age of thirteen could write so well and so maturely. She's so sophisticated and brilliant. Anne Frank is definitely one of my role models and heroes. I also found that I can relate to Anne's diary in many ways. I think that if more teenage girls took the time to read her diary it would help them with their everyday situations. It's almost like a self-help book! Haha! Anne's diary also kick started my interest in the WWII time period. I love the time period between the 1930s and 1950s. I've just recently read The Hiding Place by: Corrie ten Boom. It's a fantastic read. It's about Corrie ten Boom and her family and how they hid Jews during the war. They're also a Christian family. It's excellent and I highly recommend it if you enjoyed The Diary of Anne Frank!

It's nice to hear that more people are becoming interested and have become influenced by Anne Frank. I've been interested in her for more than 5 years - she is my idol and role model (although this is a bit strange now because I'm 19 and she was 15 when she died)
I also began to have a huge interest in the 30s and 40s after I found out about Anne, although I was interested in the 2nd World War before. I now have a huge interest in 30s and 40s films and like actresses and actors whom Anne had pictures of on her wall such as Ginger Rogers and Norma Shearer.
